I'm absolutely exhausted, still. Hustings on Friday night was terrifying, but I got through it. On Saturday we had a visit from Bill Rammell, Minister for Lifelong Learning or some such title that doesn't actually mean anything. He gave an interesting speech, accused the O U of lying over their figures, then answered some questions. Well, when I say he answered some questions, he did, just not the questions that were asked. Ho-hum. As for the business of Conference, the motion to release E C papers as default was carried, much to my surprise. It was close though, only 13 votes in it. In other news, the motions to review FirstClass were carried, the motions to disband the D S G and to create a V P Disabilities were defeated.
